PWSL Ribbon box pickup

League Reps/board members,

Ribbon box pickup for 2026 will be on May 30, 2026 at the Sudley Club, 8613 Rixlew Ln in Manassas.

Dennis will be available from 6am to 5pm that day - if you're picking up early in the morning, email Dennis to let him know. If absolutely no one from your team is available to pickup that day, please contact Dennis to make alternate arrangements - earlier is better.

The employees of the Sudley Club sort and distribute over 70,000 PWSL ribbons every season for no extra pay - please respect their work by picking up, returning, and organizing your team's ribbons appropriately.

IMPORTANT RIBBON NEWS:

There was a shortage of 10th place ribbons in this year's delivery. More are being manufactured, but in the meantime teams in Green, Black, Orange, and Purple divisions will only have 100 10th place ribbons (2 packets). You'll be able to pickup an additional packet at Sudley before your 3rd home meet, if needed.

Pickup your DQ slips and Relay takeoff slips along with your ribbon box; they'll be in the same area, talk to your head official about how many to pickup (if in doubt, 12 DQ slip packages and 4 Relay takeoff)

HEAT WINNER RIBBONS ARE FOR INDIVIDUAL EVENTS ONLY - [schedule your heat ribbon volunteer to start at 7:20AM - the meet is all relays for the first half hour!]

I wasn't able to get heat ribbon numbers to Dennis - but extra ribbons were ordered this season. If it looks like you'll of run out before your last meet, make arrangements to pickup extras at Sudley. Talk to me if you're not sure how many heats you're likely to have at a meet.

I'm including a bag marked "Reseed slips" in each ribbon box. These should go to your head Clerk of Course volunteer or head official - no need to return unused slips.

Return your small dual meet ribbon box to Sudley ASAP, with all leftover ribbons organized by place - NLT Monday after your last home meet.

Divisional Hosts will have an additional Ribbon box for the divisional meet. Don't use this box for dual meets.

Dennis can be reached at [email protected]
